Our Story

Laconia has been producing olive oil for over three thousand years. Nestled in the southern Peloponnese, it remains one of the most celebrated olive-growing regions in the world — and one of the least discovered outside of it.

Helios began through a close friendship, and conviction in what we were trying to build. When I was first invited to Asopos, a small village tucked between the Taygetos mountains and the Mediterranean coast, I wasn't prepared for what I found. Ancient groves of olive, orange, and fig trees stretching as far as I could see. Standing at the edge of a cliff, looking out over the treetops toward the shoreline of Bozas Beach, I stood there with tears in my eyes. Not because I was sad — because some places are simply that beautiful.

That moment is why Helios exists.

I have always loved the look on someone's face when they experience something extraordinary for the first time. A song, a meal, a place. That flash of wonder. Helios is my way of sharing that feeling. Cold-pressed from single-sourced olives in Asopos and brought directly to your table, it carries the soil, the sea air, and the care of the people who have tended these groves for generations.

We're just the bridge.
