Privacy Notice

Effective Date: August 25, 2026 · Last Updated: August 25, 2026

1. Introduction

Helios EVOO LLC (“Helios EVOO,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Notice explains what personal information we collect through our website at tastehelios.com (the “Site”) and when you shop with us, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights available to you. This Notice applies to visitors, account holders, and customers of the Site.

If you do not agree with this Notice, please do not use the Site. By using the Site or providing your information to us, you acknowledge the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers and contact information: name, email address, phone number, shipping address, and billing address.
  • Account information: username, password (stored in encrypted/hashed form), and account preferences, if you create an account.
  • Order and transaction information: items purchased, order history, order value, promo codes used, and returns or exchanges.
  • Payment information: we use a third-party payment processor (Stripe) to collect and process your payment card details directly. We do not store full payment card numbers on our own servers; we may retain limited transaction metadata (e.g., last four digits, payment status) provided back to us by the processor.
  • Marketing preferences: your email and SMS opt-ins, opt-outs, and communication preferences.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, links clicked, referring/exit pages, and approximate location, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).
  • Customer communications: messages you send us through contact forms, email, chat, or customer service, along with any product reviews or survey responses you submit.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as government ID numbers, precise geolocation, or health data) unless you voluntarily provide it to us, for example in a customer service message.

3. How We Collect Information

  • Directly from you when you create an account, place an order, sign up for our newsletter, enter a promotion, or contact customer service.
  • Automatically through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies when you browse the Site (see Section 5, Cookies and Tracking Technologies).
  • From third parties, such as our payment processor (confirming payment/order status) and shipping carriers (providing delivery updates), and from analytics or advertising partners.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Process, fulfill, and ship your orders, and process payments and refunds;
  • Create and manage your account;
  • Respond to customer service inquiries and communicate with you about your orders;
  • Send marketing emails or texts about products, promotions, and updates, where you have opted in or as otherwise permitted by law (with an option to opt out at any time);
  • Personalize your shopping experience and recommend products;
  • Operate, maintain, analyze, and improve the Site, including through analytics tools;
  • Deliver and measure interest-based advertising, including retargeting ads, where permitted;
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
  • Comply with applicable laws, tax and accounting obligations, and enforce our terms.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for the following purposes:

  • Essential/strictly necessary: to operate core Site functions such as your shopping cart, checkout, and account login.
  • Analytics: tools such as Google Analytics help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it.
  • Advertising and retargeting: tools such as the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel and Google Ads help us show you relevant ads on other sites and measure their effectiveness. This may be considered “sharing” your information for cross-context behavioral advertising under some state privacy laws, even though we do not sell information for money.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them, and through any cookie banner presented on the Site. Where required by law, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC), as a valid request to opt out of the sale/sharing of your personal information for that browser.

6. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell personal information for monetary payment. We share personal information with:

  • Service providers, including our payment processor, email/SMS marketing platform, website hosting provider, shipping and fulfillment partners, and customer support tools, solely to help us operate the Site and fulfill orders.
  • Analytics and advertising partners, such as Google Analytics, Meta, and Google Ads, to measure Site performance and deliver and measure advertising, subject to the choices described in Section 8.
  • Legal and safety recipients, where required to comply with law, respond to legal process, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Helios EVOO, our customers, or others.
  • Successors, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business, in which case personal information may be transferred as a business asset.

7. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Know/access the specific pieces and categories of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, and the purposes for collecting and sharing it;
  • Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions;
  • Correct inaccurate personal information;
  • Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information (see Section 5 regarding advertising cookies);
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information, to the extent applicable; and
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights, and to designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf, and to appeal a denial of a rights request.

Residents of Other States

Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (for example, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states whose laws take effect over time) have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain processing, including targeted advertising and profiling. As a matter of policy, we offer these same choices to all U.S. customers, regardless of state of residence.

How to Exercise Your Rights

You may submit a request by emailing heliosevoo@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests, and you may designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf. We will respond within the time required by applicable law (generally 45 days, with a possible extension).

  • Marketing emails: use the “unsubscribe” link in any marketing email, or contact us.
  • Marketing texts: reply “STOP” to any marketing text message.
  • Advertising cookies / Do Not Sell or Share: adjust your cookie preferences through our cookie banner, your browser settings, or by sending a Global Privacy Control signal, as described in Section 5.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Notice, including maintaining order, tax, and accounting records for as long as required by applicable law, resolving disputes, and enforcing our agreements. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize personal information.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, such as encrypting data in transit (SSL/TLS) and limiting access to personal information to personnel and service providers who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete it. Parents who believe their child has provided us with personal information may contact us using the details in Section 13.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy notices before providing them with information.

12. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Notice from time to time. We will post the revised Notice on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date, and, where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes (for example, by email or a Site banner).
